Arkansas Higher Education Coordinating Board Director

On May 26, 2016, the Arkansas Higher Education Coordinating Board (AHECB) announced it would begin a search for its next director.  A search committee appointed by AHECB Chairman Bob Crafton, consisting of AHECB members and Presidents Council members was then formed. Find full announcement here.


Candidates should have a record of achievement, including broad administrative, management, finance and academic experience and proven leadership ability. Interested candidates should submit a letter of application, a current resume, and the names and telephone numbers/e-mail addresses of five references via email to 

Review of applications and nominations will begin immediately and will continue until an appointment is made.  In order to ensure consideration by the Search Committee, applications must be received no later than 5:00 p.m. July 1, 2016. All applicants are subject to public disclosure under the Arkansas Freedom of Information Act.  ADHE is an equal opportunity employer.
